Vehicles of a larger Scale than 1:32 Useful information!
The abbreviation Sd. Kfz. stands for Sonderkraftfahrzeug (Special Motor Vehicle).
All German military vehicles had an Sd. Kfz. reference number allocated by the Heereswaffenamt (Army Ordnance Office).
Numbers up to 100 were unarmoured vehicles.
Sd. Kfz. 101, 121, 141, 161, 171 and 181 were Pz. Kfpw. I – VI (Pz. Kpfw. = Panzerkraftwagen = tank)
Sd. Kfz. 130 – 140 were Czech tanks or self-propelled mountings
Sd. Kfz. 221 and 231 were armoured cars.
Sd. Kfz. 250-253 Armoured Half-Tracks.
